Harmonoise is a small project, so responses may take a little time — sometimes messages are answered in batches. Thoughtful bug reports and concrete suggestions are especially appreciated.
What to include in a message
For the fastest useful reply, a few details go a long way:
- Which tool you were using (noise generator, guitar tuner, BPM tapper, frequency generator, metronome).
- Your browser and operating system (for example, Chrome on macOS, Safari on iOS, Firefox on Windows).
- What you expected to happen, and what actually happened.
- For audio issues: sample rate if you know it, and whether headphones or speakers are in use.
- For tuner issues: whether microphone permission was granted, and whether other apps could use the microphone at the time.
What kinds of messages are welcome
A non-exhaustive list of things worth writing in about:
- Bug reports — something doesn't work, shows the wrong value, or crashes.
- Usability feedback — a control is confusing, a label is wrong, a keyboard shortcut misbehaves.
- Accessibility issues — a screen reader announces something oddly, contrast feels low, keyboard focus gets lost.
- Feature requests — an audio tool or utility you wish existed on the site.
- Corrections to guide or article content — if something in a guide is technically inaccurate, please say so and point to a source if possible.
- Privacy or advertising concerns — questions about the Privacy Policy or Cookie Policy, or a specific ad that seems out of place.
- Media or educational use — a brief note if you're using Harmonoise in teaching, research, or writing. No permission is needed, but it's always nice to hear.
What messages don't fit here
A few topics are better directed elsewhere:
- Legal takedown or DMCA-style requests: please include the specific URL, a clear description of the concern, and contact information. These are reviewed individually.
- General advertising sales or SEO pitches: the site's advertising is served by Google AdSense. Direct-sale inquiries are not accepted.
- Guest-post and link-building offers: the site does not accept paid guest content or link swaps, so these messages will not receive a reply.
Privacy of your message
Email sent to [email protected] is received through standard email infrastructure.
Messages are retained only as long as needed to answer them and to keep a reasonable support
history. The content of a message is not shared with third parties, except as required to operate
email delivery (for example, the email provider) or to comply with a legal obligation. For

Social and third-party platforms
Harmonoise does not operate official accounts on social platforms. If you see an account claiming to represent the site, it isn't official. Email is the only supported channel.
